NVAC initiates internship, fellowship program at PNNL
RICHLAND, Wash – A new internship and fellowship program created through the National Visualization and Analytics Center is now accepting applications from university undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students as well as faculty. The internships and fellowships would last for 10 weeks or more and take place at PNNL's Richland campus.

Department of Homeland Security Launches National Center Focusing on Data Visualization to Enhance Homeland Security
WASHINGTON, DC – The U.S. Department of Homeland Security today announced the creation of the National Visualization and Analytics Center (NVAC). The new center, to be led by the Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in Richland, Washington, will provide scientific guidance and coordination for the research and development of new tools and methods that Homeland Security has identified as required for managing, visually representing, and analyzing enormous amounts of diverse data and information.
