Broadening Our Horizons

VAC Consortium Meeting August 31 - September 1, 2010 at the University of Maryland

Visual analytics is a rapidly growing field with broad applicability to industry, science, commerce, and society. The VAC Consortium is an active international community of researchers, educators, technology providers and practitioners striving toward a common goal: to help people make sense of complex information effectively with the support of innovative visual analytics software. A one-day visual analytics education workshop was be held on August 30th in conjunction with the Consortium meeting. Materials and outcomes from the workshop are on the VA Community website.

Cost to Attend

• Corporate Leaders: Free for up to 4 people
• Corporate Members: Free for up to 3 people
• Startup/Small Company: Free for up to 2 people
• Non-members: $450
• Students: $250

Notes: Registration fee includes materials, speaker fees and all meals. Cancellation with full reimbursement honored five days prior to event.
