The Department of Homeland Security created the National Visualization and Analytics Center at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory to promote a science-based approach to threat awareness. NVAC established a Consortium of scientists, business leaders and industry experts to become interactive members, receive first-hand information and influence application of NVAC science and technology. The NVAC Consortium held a very successful first meeting at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, WA.
