The 2011 Visual Analytics Community Consortium meeting was held on May 3 and 4 at the University of Maryland Conference Center. Over a hundred people from government, industry, and academia around the world who are working every day to transform ideas into visual analytics solutions met to hear success stories, discuss challenges, see the latest in visual analytics software and emerging research, and connect with the community. |
The R&D Agenda, Illuminating the Path, published in 2004, was developed to define the directions and priorities for future research and development programs focused on visual analytics tools. The complete book is available for download. |
VA Community Website The visual analytics community site serves as home for visual analytics discussions and a home for emerging communities of research and practice. The new site is being developed as a coordination point for the breadth of disciplines that all play important roles in the continued growth of visual analytics. Check it out! |
